Mr. Lopez was able to defend his client, a husband and a father, against false sexual abuse charges made by his wife. The wife sought a buy-out from their community business. Mr. Lopez was able to prove that the business had no value, only debt. As such, no buy-out was ordered, and the wife was responsible for paying 50% of the remaining company debts.
The husband was granted joint legal custody of their children and his child support was reduced to zero as a result of their 50/50 visitation schedule and the incomes of both the parties. Additionally, the wife sought spousal support but the court denied this request.
