Jennifer Duke is of counsel at Jorgensen & Salberg, LLP.  She is admitted to practice law in all state courts in California. As a distinguished trial attorney, appellate attorney, and negotiator, Ms. Duke had an exemplary career as a prosecuting attorney handling serious, violent crimes including, but not limited to, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, and financial elder fraud. She retired from a 25-year career as a prosecutor and now focuses on estate planning and civil litigation.

As a former Deputy District Attorney and Deputy Attorney General, Ms. Duke’s legal acumen and extensive trial experience make her an asset to Jorgensen & Salberg, LLP.  Her vast experience includes writing and arguing motions and appeals and taking countless jury trials to verdict.  She has also argued before the Court of Appeal in Los Angeles County. Ms. Duke is attentive to detail and focuses on successful, strategic client representation.  She has excellent organizational and communication skills, making clients feel comfortable and respected.

Ms. Duke graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.  She graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego.  Ms. Duke earned American Jurisprudence Awards in Evidence, Trial Practice, and Criminal Procedure. She was on the Dean’s Honor List and part of the Pro Bono Honor Society.

Ms. Duke enjoys hiking, boating, and country concerts. She also volunteers time to help victims of human trafficking with rehabilitation and reintegration.
